Chief Cloud Security Specialist

Cloud Security Engineers safeguard cloud-based systems from unauthorized access and malicious activities. To achieve this goal, we need a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement secure cloud architecture using AWS services such as VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, and others.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms.
- Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems and implement security governance policies and maintain audit logs for regulatory requirements.
- Automate cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration.
- Secure data by implementing secret management solutions with versioning enabled and build backup solutions for running applications' downtime.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong focus on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
