Financial Control Specialist

As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the validity, legality and achievement of company goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and control the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
- Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans to ensure effective auditing.
- Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc. to identify potential issues.
- Prepare and present detailed reports that reflect audit results and document processes.
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to management and the audit committee.
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings opportunities.
- Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee to ensure smooth auditing processes.
- Document processes and prepare audit findings memoranda.
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management interventions and ensure effective implementation.
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance metrics.
