Job Title: Data Integration Developer

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Development & Maintenance
    • Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages for complex ETL workflows (data extraction, transformation, loading).
    • Create and optimize SSRS reports with interactive dashboards, drill-downs, and parameterized features.
    • Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server databases.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL processes and reports.
  • 2. Collaboration & Documentation
    • Work closely with the Onshore Coordinator and Offshore Lead to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Document code, data mappings, and technical specifications in Confluence/Jira.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • 3. Quality Assurance & Innovation
    • Perform unit testing and support QA teams to ensure defect-free deliverables.
    • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, self-service reporting).
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., Snowflake, API integrations, cloud migrations).

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, Confluence.
  • Exposure to Snowflake, Power BI, or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.

 

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.
  • Excellent communication to collaborate with onshore/offshore teams.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, ETL Tools) preferred.
  • Experience in financial, healthcare, or telecom domains is advantageous.
