Electromechanical Design Engineer

Looking for a Mechanical Design professional with extensive experience in designing electromechanical enclosures and chassis for defence, avionics, and telecom industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Solid works and Auto cad tools, as well as knowledge of Structural and Thermal analysis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for taking up mechanical design independently, interacting with customers and project teams to capture input and design accordingly, and managing a team of 10+ members. Key skills include proficiency in Solid works and AutoCAD, good knowledge of BOM creation, material selection, fastener selection, CNC machining, and surface finish process, as well as vendor development activities.
- Design components to meet DFM requirements
- Manage cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Minimum 15+ years' experience in mechanical design
- Strong understanding of structural and thermal analysis
- Proficiency in Solid works and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of BOM creation, material selection, fastener selection, CNC machining, and surface finish process
