Senior Actuarial Leader

Are you looking to drive innovative solutions in actuarial and data science across the APAC region? This is an opportunity to influence the strategic direction of our business, working with a diverse range of markets and products.

You will be part of a talented team dedicated to delivering impactful actuarial and data science solutions that support business growth. Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a subject matter expert on actuarial methodologies and engineering techniques, advising senior management and collaborating across functional teams.
  • Developing and enhancing strategic vision and roadmaps for actuarial solutions that enable continuous improvement in processes and delivery.
  • Leading the creation of efficient, scalable solutions that accelerate speed to market while ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant technical standards.
  • Championing customer-centric priorities, ensuring internal and external stakeholders benefit from actionable, high-quality data insights.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees (Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Relevant insurance designations desirable but not a requirement.
  • Strong actuarial and data engineering expertise, with hands-on experience in actuarial solution design, development and execution.
  • Experience in coding for data management, data warehousing or other data environments, including SQL, NoSQL implementation, ETL, scripting languages.
  • Proven ability to work independently as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing strategic solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex actuarial concepts and data insights clearly and persuasively.
