About the Role

At Tata Electronics, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Materials Sourcing Director to join our team. This is a key role in our semiconductor operations, responsible for overseeing the sourcing, procurement, and inventory management of raw materials, components, and supplies required for our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies for semiconductor materials, including Carrier tapes, cover tape, Mold compound, Reel, Glue, boxes, chemicals, Lead Frame, Gold wire, Copper Wire, solder, etc.">
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with global suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high quality, and consistent delivery.">
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms for cost, delivery, quality, and service.">
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with production teams to forecast material requirements and manage inventory levels.">
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Identify risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM) preferred.">
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role within the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry.">
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience in cost analysis, data-driven decision-making, and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).">
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing procurement professionals.">

Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum
