About The Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for managing 2D drawings for mechanical and PH services using AutoCAD.

You will work closely with project engineers to agree on drawing strategy, type, and size of drawings and numbering. Additionally, you will suggest methods of drawing production to ensure efficient working practices.

  • Manage 2D drawings for mechanical and PH services using AutoCAD.
  • Agree drawing strategy, type, and size of drawings and numbering with project engineers.
  • Suggest methods of drawing production to ensure efficient working practices.
  • Work with project engineers to prioritize drawing production.
  • Implement best practices for process improvement.
  • Adopt new technology and implement in the team and process.
  • Flag resource concerns in advance to CAD Manager.
  • Deliver projects on agreed schedules.
  • Prepare plant room layouts, sections, details, and coordinated services drawings.
  • Discuss and agree setting out and building services details with other members of the team.
  • Complete design sketches for information in tender documents.
  • Produce work to specified WSP in India CAD standards.
  • Use templates for CAD work and use CAD library items to assist design work.
  • Provide advice and coaching to junior CAD staff on CAD functions.
  • Follow QA, document control, archiving CDM guidelines on all work.
  • Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project.
