Job Title: Tax Professional

As a tax professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial function of the organization.

About The Job:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for coordinating with tax authorities, ensuring timely submissions, and preparing technical submissions to support the organization's position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support assessment proceedings with tax authorities by coordinating with relevant teams and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Liaise with tax authorities for ongoing matters, including responding to queries and providing necessary documentation.
  • Draft rectification applications and related submissions to resolve discrepancies or issues with tax authorities.
  • Conduct research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues, and prepare technical submissions to support the organization's position.
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Independently handle TDS returns, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
  • Prepare advance tax computations based on estimates, taking into account the organization's financial projections.
  • Assist in advising on international tax matters, including interpreting provisions of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA).
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Improved communication and collaboration with regional finance managers.
  • Timely and accurate support for strategic & annual planning.
  • Reliable forecasting and re-estimates to inform business decisions.
  • High-quality analysis of company performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in taxation, such as CA or CMA.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in taxation, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
