Job Title: Dam Engineering Expert

About the Opportunity

This role plays a pivotal part in our organization's operations, requiring expertise in dam design. The successful candidate will serve as a key expert for all design review matters, reviewing submitted plans and assessing preliminary designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review technical bid documents, bill of quantities, and technical specifications
  • Provide tailored design solutions for major rehabilitation components
  • Estimate costs based on item rate analysis or Scheduled of Rates (SOR)
  • Conduct thorough dam safety inspections and manage transmittals
  • Facilitate capacity building of DRIP IAs through customized training programs
Requirements
  • Expertise in dam design and rehabilitation
  • Ability to review technical bid documents and provide design inputs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in conducting dam safety inspections and managing transmittals
