Job Overview

The Supply Quality group operates across Amazon Advertising products to provide invalid traffic filtration viewability prediction and measurement, content adjacency policy enforcement capabilities. The focus is on ensuring the validity of ad traffic generated from human users or bots.

Traffic Quality TQ Analytics team focuses on building key metrics, reporting root cause analysis, critical stakeholder communications on changing trends and patterns for this area. Building heuristic-based models and techniques address IVT and ad fraud.

You will define interventions that help achieve business objectives as a Business Intelligence Engineer for TQ Analytics. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, supporting a scalable and reliable information model for storing, processing, analyzing, reporting data across Amazon properties and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing a scalable data information model for Amazon properties and partners
  • Defining and implementing data quality guardrails and monitoring mechanisms
  • Presenting measurable insights into complex business problems to senior leadership
  • Automating data processes for self-service by others on the team
  • Applying statistical techniques to build models detecting and filtering IVT
Requirements
  • 3 years of data analysis experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
  • Data visualization experience using Tableau, Quicksight
  • Data modeling, warehousing, ETL pipeline experience
  • Experience with Statistical Analysis packages like R, SAS, Matlab
  • SQL scripting experience for data extraction and Python for data processing
Bonus Skills
  • AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift experience
  • Data mining, ETL, database management in a business environment
