Cloud Data Infrastructure Specialist

A skilled Cloud Data Infrastructure Specialist is required to design, develop and maintain robust data infrastructure while ensuring data governance and compliance across the business. This role involves building and scaling ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and implementing data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and optimize existing SSIS-based ETL processes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Architect and deploy a new cloud-based data warehouse on Azure to support business growth
  • Build and scale ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
  • Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data security and compliance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent STEM field with 5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering and data warehouse design
  • Hands-on expertise in SSIS and Azure Data Platform components, along with strong SQL skills
  • Experience in data governance and data modeling using Kimball/Star Schema/Snowflake approaches
