As a key member of our organization, the Automation Lead plays a pivotal role in crafting and implementing comprehensive test automation frameworks and strategies for mobile telecommunications applications.

This position ensures the efficiency and scalability of test automation processes across functional and non-functional testing efforts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Framework Development:
  • Create robust and maintainable test automation frameworks for telco systems, including OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, and network monitoring applications.
  • Evaluate and select tools and technologies that align with the telecom SDLC.
  • Automation Strategy Definition:
  • Develop the test automation strategy and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Collaborate with domain SMEs to identify potential areas for automation.
  • Prioritize test cases for automation.
  • Script Development and Maintenance:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts.
  • Evaluate and ensure test script reliability and maintainability, following best practices.
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing.
  • Ensure timely execution of automated tests.
  • Optimize test scripts for performance and efficiency.

Required Expertise / Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Experience automating tests for mobile telco systems.
  • Strong understanding of scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo), and containerization (e.g., Docker).
