At our Merchant Banking business unit, we oversee investment management activities including raising new debt and equity capital, forming new ventures, acquiring and disposing of properties, and managing portfolio investments.

We seek a highly motivated individual to play a key role in the execution of reporting to investors, shareholders, and stakeholders invested in single-family rental (SFR) properties. Our Portfolio Management team serves as leaders and collaborators, serving the lifecycle of our investment products.

The Investor Reporting Analyst will be responsible for generating operational reports for our SFR portfolios, delivered externally to each of our Joint Venture (JV) institutional investors. Each investor jointly owns the portfolio with us and may contain 100's-1,000's of homes in a single portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Portfolio Managers in maintaining and improving complex portfolio investment and fund-level models.
  • Build and maintain portfolio/financial models, including cash flow projections, fund-level waterfalls, and IRR calculations.
  • Work with managers to evaluate and clarify investor requests, offering alternative solutions and performing deep dives into operational metrics.
  • Provide guidance to team members and lead on complex deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to centralize, eliminate, or automate activities.
  • Responsible for PM Investor Relations Reporting, preparing and reviewing fund operational reports and modifications for Single-Family Residential Joint Ventures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational background: MBA/CA/CFA with financial markets understanding preferred.
  • 4-7 years of prior experience in Financial Services and/or Real Estate firm.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience in Tableau and SQL preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
