Lead Rural Development Projects with Our Organization

This leadership position involves guiding rural development projects through thorough community assessments, strategic planning, government alignment, and oversight of cross-functional teams.

The role demands proactive leadership, consistent execution, and accountability in delivering measurable results over a multi-year framework.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct village-level assessments and design long-term project frameworks.
  • Monitor evolving community and environmental dynamics and adjust project priorities as needed.
  • Develop annual operational plans based on field realities and stakeholder feedback, emphasizing sustainability and measurable outcomes.
  • Consolidate data and prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly project performance updates with clear evidence of outcomes.
  • Establish working relationships with local authorities to align initiatives with relevant government departments.
  • Identify suitable government schemes or public sector programs to benefit target communities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, submitting timely documentation.
  • Lead the project team, providing one-on-one support and tracking staff performance against agreed plans.
  • Represent the project at forums.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Project Planning, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in development project execution.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role handling cross-sector teams.
  • Christian Community background.
