Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM structural draftsman to support our structural engineering team by preparing accurate and detailed BIM models and structural drawings.

  • Prepare high-quality structural drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools based on engineering markups and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure model consistency and accuracy.
  • Produce precise shop drawings, detailed sections, and reinforcement detailing as required.
  • Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes and company BIM standards.
  • Participate in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM software.
  • Review and manage drawing revisions to ensure quality control of drafted output.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a structural draftsman, with at least 2 years using BIM/Revit.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks is required.
  • Strong knowledge of structural systems (RC, steel, post-tensioning) and detailing standards is necessary.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects is an advantage.
