About Employee Health and Wellness

Employee health benefits are undergoing a significant transformation in India, shifting focus from secondary care to primary healthcare needs.

The traditional approach to employee health benefits has been limited to insurance/hospitalization benefits. However, today, 90% of individual healthcare expenses in India are incurred on primary care services such as mental wellness, fitness, nutrition, diagnostics, medicines, and regular doctor appointments.

visithealth comes in - a one-stop solution for all employee health benefits needs. We help companies build a customized wellness solution focused on primary care aspects such as fitness, mental health, doctor teleconsultation, OPD programs, etc., thereby reducing out-of-pocket expenses and creating healthier workforces.

Our team is scaling across all engineering functions and we need a data engineer to join our high-energy team to have a direct impact on tooling/development cycles/testing frameworks.

The responsibilities include processing data and information according to guidelines, helping develop reports and analyses, supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements, evaluating changes and updates to source production systems, identifying and developing data pipelines to support data standardization, handling multiple sources of data, structuring large data sets to find usable information, and coming up with standardized schema.

The ideal candidate must have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, good knowledge of databases such as MySQL and No SQL, good coding skills in languages such as Python, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques, reporting and data visualization skills using software like Tableau, PowerBI, or any other tool, understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques, strong written/verbal communication skills, ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations, and understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
