Director of Finance Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving listing readiness, financial governance frameworks, and investor-grade reporting systems.

  • Lead the End-to-End Listing Finance Workstream: Prepare DRHPs, financial schedules, audit alignment, and Ind-AS compliance.
  • Establish Public-Company-Grade Internal Controls: Delegation of authority, governance policies, and finance point of contact for external advisors.
  • Ensure Accurate Financial Reporting: Timely and audit-compliant financial reports, compliance charter, GST, TDS, income tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Budgeting and forecasting across revenue, opex, capex, cash flows, and profitability metrics.
  • Performance Analysis: In-depth analysis including business KPIs, scenario models, actuals vs. forecast, margin improvements, cost optimization, and ROI of key initiatives.

Reporting, Insights & Automation:

  • MIS Frameworks & Dashboards: Build monthly reporting packs, quarterly review documents, and automate financial reporting, reconciliations, and transaction-level processes.
  • Actionable Insights: Deliver insights proactively to enable real-time decision-making by leadership.

Team Building & Leadership:

  • Mentor & Build a High-Performing Finance Team: Strong ownership and compliance rigour, precision, speed, transparency, and audit-readiness.
