About the Job

As a dedicated professional in pediatric occupational therapy, you will play a vital role in helping children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges achieve their full potential.

This is a full-time on-site position for an Occupational Therapist located in Pune. Our team comprises experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to our young clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct occupational therapy interventions to children with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate children's developmental, physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities through standardized assessments, clinical observations, and parent/caregiver interviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs and provide education on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote child independence.
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in India.
  • Experience working with children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
