Job Title: Senior Finance Associate- Receivable

Job Summary:

As a senior finance associate, you will be responsible for managing financial and inventory controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously reconcile receivables and inventory at the order level.
  • Improve and automate reporting processes of inventory and debtors.
  • Resolve operational challenges in inventory financial reporting through collaboration with warehouse and supply chain teams.
  • Implement dispute ticket raising process in marketplace/payment gateway/courier partners/warehouse operators and realize disputed amounts.
  • Ensure accurate weighted average cost reflection in the financial accounting system, coordinating with technology team if required.
  • Track absorption of direct and indirect overheads and maintain tracker/audit trail of adjustments to product cost and closing stock (if any).
  • Review internal processes and inventory health periodically, identify risks, and highlight them to regional and corporate management through standard and exception reports.
  • Coordinate internal audit, including bank and stock audit, ensuring corrections are incorporated in the warehouse management system.
  • Maintain statutory compliance trackers and prepare SOPs for warehousing and manufacturing.

Required Experience:

  • Chartered accountant with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in e-commerce ecosystems is mandatory.
  • Efficient data management and processing skills.
  • Ability to work in unstructured environments and set up systems and processes from scratch.
  • Good communication skills and representation capabilities.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
