Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Services Manager to oversee the service operations for our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SMT processes, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, particularly with Fuji equipment.

As a Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of field service engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management. You will also serve as a technical escalation point for complex service and maintenance issues.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in hardware and software aspects of SMT machines. They will also have excellent communication and customer management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Service Operations for SMT machines, primarily Fuji platforms (e.g., Install, commission, and support Fuji SMT lines at customer sites with minimal downtime.
  • Supervise a team of field service engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex service and maintenance issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and audits to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, and Engineering) for seamless customer support.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation as per company standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical training to internal teams and customer personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS and quality standards.

Requirements:
  • ~12+ years of experience in SMT industry, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience with Fuji SMT machines.
  • ~ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in hardware and software aspects of SMT machines.
  • ~ Willingness to travel to customer sites as required (domestic and possibly international).
  • ~ Experience with other SMT brands (e.g., IPC-A-610 or equivalent SMT standards training)
