We're currently seeking a Support Engineer:

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting all Unified Communications (UC) issues, providing technical support to customers, and assisting with customer administration of our platform.

Main Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Technical Support:

The Support Engineer will troubleshoot and reproduce customer technical issues to resolution, escalate when necessary, and provide quick and accurate handling of support interactions - phone, screen sharing, and email.

Training and Customer Satisfaction:

The role involves training customer administration of our platform, following up with customers to ensure they're satisfied with the resolution, and managing customer expectations to deliver high customer satisfaction and increase retention.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years experience in technical support in any domain
  • Experience supporting technical support for telecommunications clients
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, perseverance, and patience
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting and terminology including LAN/WAN, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, PBX deployment, TCP/IP (IPv4), DNS, etc.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding team-oriented and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate and empathize with all levels of customers - executives, end users, developers

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting contact center technologies
  • Experienced in VOIP technology including SIP, RTP, QoS, COS, codecs
  • Networking, IT, or telecommunications certification is a plus - Network+ or equivalent is desirable
