About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Workday India Private Limited. As a key member of our automation tools development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation tools to help optimize our organization's growth and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of general development experience required.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in project management principles including requirements definition, gap analysis, and implementation.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Systems.

Other Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work closely with non-technical business owners on a technical solution.
  • Experience with one or more of the following preferred: Linux, Cypress, Docker, CI/CD, Networking, Server Maintenance.
  • Proven track record to lead and contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, constantly evolving, and sometimes unexpected work environment, prioritizing accordingly.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills both technically and functionally. Shown ability to proactively and quickly grasp, distill, and synthesize concepts and details from diverse sources, identify trends, develop strategies, and implement high-impact solutions.
  • Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including a consistent track record of designing and delivering engaging, outcome-based presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certifications are highly desirable.
