Job Description

Ensure Supplier Performance Meets Expectations

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of supplier relationships to ensure performance meets expectations.
  • Oversee supplier delivery performance, quality, and cost.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead supplier development efforts to enhance quality, supply chain speed, delivery, and cost.
  • Drive supplier improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management, or accepted quality improvement tools.
  • Monitor supplier capacity and capability to meet material needs globally.
  • Develop and implement supplier scorecards to measure performance.
  • Take timely and effective actions to resolve issues impacting quality, delivery, or cost.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings, quality systems requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Proven communication and teamwork skills.
  • Solid understanding of MRP and MS Office software.
  • Ability to lead change and alignment on new concepts and approaches.
  • Will to travel and facilitate communications while traveling.
