In our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journals, and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries, ensuring proper classification.
  • Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments and expense management.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, tracking payments, and assisting with collections to ensure timely cash flow.
  • Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Assist in the accurate computation and timely filing of all statutory returns, including GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and other applicable taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) or relevant accounting principles.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Assist in the preparation of various financial reports, including trial balances, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all entries are accurate and reconciled.
  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports as required by management.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, including recording acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and improvements within the accounting function.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures or systems.
