Job Description">

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This is a key role in the finance team, responsible for the overall financial health of the organization.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Preparing periodic financial statements and reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ensuring that reported financials are fair and accurate, and comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Managing vendor invoices, record payments, and ensuring tax compliance.
  • Reviewing and maintaining compliance with applicable tax laws, employment laws, and other regulations.
  • Providing tax, insurance, and other reports needed by governmental regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of GAAP and local accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working at a funded start-up or similar environment.
  • Prior experience hiring/performing annual appraisals and team management is a plus.
Required Skills and Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks.
  • Deep understanding of India and US GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the SaaS business model and key metrics.
  • Excellent attention-to-detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to connect information to find solutions proactively.
