Our organization is seeking a talented Cloud Security Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing tests and automation for cloud security products, with a strong expertise in Python as a programming language.The Cloud Security Automation Specialist will be responsible for designing specialized tests for performance, stress, and longevity across multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, and macOS. They will also work closely with cross-functional teams to handle internal or customer incidents, and analyze test gaps that resulted in customer issues to improve test plans/strategy.Key Responsibilities:
  • • Develop automation scripts parallel to feature development to build zero day automation
    • Identify areas of improvement in current testing processes
    • Design and implement new automated testing tools
  • Work closely with the development team to cover all aspects of the features being developed
    • Collaborate with developers to understand product requirements
    • Develop test plans and test strategy documents
  • E2E ownership from feature, performance, security testing, automation, production deployment to monitoring & alerting
    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of a feature
    • Ensure that all aspects of a feature are thoroughly tested
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience developing tests and automation for networking and cloud security products
  • Strong expertise in Python as a programming language
  • Strong experience in Web User Interface testing using Selenium, RESTful Web Service automation
  • Experience setting up complex networking topologies
  • Strong expertise in TCP/IP, UDP & HTTP
  • Good understanding of security products like SWG, ZTNA, Web proxies or cloud security solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience on virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, qemu/kvm, Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Hands-on experience on version control tools (e.g., Git), test management tools (e.g., TestRail), and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required, Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
