About the Position

We are seeking an Operational Excellence Professional who will be responsible for developing and executing a focused effort to improve operational effectiveness and profitability across global manufacturing sites and processes. This individual will collaborate with site leadership teams and the director of operational excellence to develop and lead a performance transformation that improves operational excellence, systems, and drives a continuous improvement culture.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Cost Improvement Projects
  • Establish OEE Program to Track Lost Production Causes
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping Exercises to Define Processes
  • Identify Areas for Improvement and Develop Strategies
  • Support Execution of Improvement Projects by Promoting Proven Tools and Approaches
  • Lead and Mentor Leadership Team Members in Creating a Culture that Motivates Employees
  • Exhibit Safety Awareness and Safe Work Practices
  • Participate in Self-Development Activities and Training Others

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred
  • Extensive previous experience in implementation of OE/CI projects in manufacturing environment
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma to drive business results
