  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with Australian accounting standards.
  • Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings to guarantee timely submission.
  • Process payroll and superannuation contributions, if required.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities to finalize financial statements.
  • Collaborate with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
  • Effectively manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking to optimize cash flow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably with Australian clients or companies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB software.
  • Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sharp analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities.
