We are seeking a creative professional to join our team as a Visual Communications Specialist.

Job Description:

Create visually appealing graphics and illustrations that communicate messages effectively. Develop concepts, designs, and layouts for various marketing materials such as flyers, posters, slides, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine design briefs and requirements.
  • Schedule projects and define work pipelines.
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
  • Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand.
  • Use appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
  • Work with the creative lead and larger marketing team to produce final designs.
  • Test graphics across various media.
  • Amend designs after feedback.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Requirements:

  • Design and create enticing graphics for design deliverables.
  • Prepare design plans, concepts, and layouts for graphic design projects.
  • Work with the creative lead and writer to understand project scope and objectives.
  • Assist in selecting design, colors, animation, etc for graphic design.
  • Work with other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
  • Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create new designs.
  • Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
  • Maintain and follow best practices for naming conventions, and organization of graphic files.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
