Mother Teacher

A caregiver educator plays a pivotal role in the foundational years of a child's education, typically for Pre-Nursery to Grade 2. This position emphasizes nurturing emotional bonding and continuity in learning by having one teacher manage most subjects for a single class throughout the day.

• Teach multiple subjects, such as English, Math, and EVS, to the same group of students throughout the academic year.
• Foster a warm and nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities that cater to the developmental needs of young children.
• Monitor and track individual student progress, providing personalized attention as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with parents through regular meetings, updates, and reports.
• Work closely with co-teachers, aides, and school management to ensure curriculum continuity and quality.
• Manage classroom behavior with empathy and age-appropriate strategies.
• Organize class events, activities, and celebrations to enhance student engagement.
• Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom space that encourages curiosity and learning.

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Prior experience as a primary or pre-primary teacher, especially in the Mother Teacher concept.
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning pedagogy.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, patient, and empathetic nature with a passion for working with young children.
