Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Unix Server Professional to fill this critical leadership role.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Unix server administration tasks using Red Hat Linux 7/8/9, ensuring smooth deployment, efficient management, and effective troubleshooting.
  • Oversee Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management initiatives to optimize performance and availability.
  • Develop and implement scripts using Shell, Perl, Python, and similar languages to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Prioritize and resolve technical issues for business application servers in diverse environments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Maintain high standards of Unix server infrastructure availability and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Foster collaboration with the team to address complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in Unix Servers operating system Administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Red Hat Linux operation systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in debugging and problem analysis techniques.
  • A clear understanding of network requirements for Unix Server Infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with virtualized environments, storage, and networking.
  • Exceptional initiative, dependability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Engineering graduate or MCA/Computer Science Graduate or PG.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Linux Administration.
