Shopify Technical Lead Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled leader to grow our eCommerce practice at an enterprise level, focusing on the Shopify ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, defining solution architectures, and delivering complex projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams to deliver top-notch solutions
  • Create comprehensive solution architectures using Shopify's technology stack and relevant integrations
  • Provide accurate project plans, timelines, and budgets for new and existing implementations
  • Design and build innovative websites and web applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in web application design and development
  • Experience working as an Architect or project lead on multiple Shopify Plus implementations
  • Knowledge of React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and other modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Developed complex enterprise Shopify solutions, including apps and extensions
  • Experience working with modern eCommerce platforms beyond Shopify Plus
  • Proficiency in web-based extensions and scripting techniques - JavaScript expertise preferred

The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to collaborate effectively within a team environment and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
