We are seeking a professional to lead our technical team, providing strategic direction and technical leadership in the design, development, and operation of distributed, fault-tolerant applications. This role requires expertise in cloud technologies, project management tools, and agile methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to empower the team with new technologies, training, and enablement.
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to devise a plan for the team's technical competencies.
  • Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve the team's skills and performance.
  • Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Identify problems and evaluate current trends to inform technical decisions.
  • Ensure adoption of best-in-class quality assurance techniques to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop employee growth opportunities, mentoring, coaching, and managing employees.
  • Attract and retain diverse and highly skilled engineering talent, optimizing utilization to maximize outputs.
  • Manage and conduct continuous feedback and appraisal discussions.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Support presales and solutions teams on pursuits to bring in new business.
  • Work in a mutually interdependent structure spanning across business, technology, and other functions, helping to unblock teams and resolve issues.
  • Efficiently manage day-to-day operations and communications with the teams.

Required Skills:



  • At least yrs. experience in technically leading the project from requirements analysis, design, development, and operation of distributed, fault-tolerant applications with particular attention to security, scalability, performance, availability, and cost/revenue optimization.
  • At least Yrs. experience with any cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, RedHat, Rack space, Open stack, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Knowledge in Project Management tools and Agile Methodologies.
  • Demonstrates expertise and leadership in working with business units, product management, development, and operations staff to architect innovative solutions that meet the requirements to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability, realistic implementation schedules and adherence to architectural goals and principles.
  • Hands-on experience with web development in any of the following languages: Java, .Net, Python, Go, C, JavaScript (Node, Angular).
  • Experience with back-end services/micro-services development and relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Expertise in open-source technologies and NoSQL DB technologies such as Couchbase, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification in AWS or Azure is preferred.
