The role of a Render Specialist is to oversee the entire rendering process, ensuring that high-quality images are produced efficiently and effectively.

About the Position

This is an advanced role that requires significant experience in rendering technologies and pipeline management.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of rendering engines, such as Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift, and Cycles, and be able to troubleshoot complex issues related to rendering performance and user support.

Responsibilities include managing the rendering workflow, coordinating with clients to ensure timely delivery of high-quality renders, and providing technical support to artists to resolve rendering-related issues.

The ideal candidate will also be skilled in Python scripting and familiar with MEL, MAXScript, and HScript for tool development, as well as having a strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex render issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Software Expertise: Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, Blender, Houdini, 3ds Max, and knowledge of rendering engines like Arnold, V-Ray, Redshift, Cycles, Karma, and plugins like Yeti, XGen, Golaem.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of rendering pipelines, shading, lighting, and AOV/pass setup, as well as experience with render farm management and proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Other Requirements: Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
