Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Linux Development Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, scripting, and Linux system administration.

  • Enhance and expand the existing Linux Workplace on Ubuntu to meet evolving user needs and improve overall system performance.
  • Design, develop, and configure new features for Linux client instances to address business requirements and enhance security.
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of the Linux Workplace on various hardware types and virtual machines through quality assurance and testing.
  • Provide expert-level support for workplace users, leveraging existing IT service management processes.
  • Analyze and resolve integration issues with company infrastructure.
  • Oversee maintenance of Linux Workplace-specific infrastructure servers and software repositories.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in software development and Linux system administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux packaging and administration, including Debian-based distributions.
  • Strong background in software development and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and GNU utilities.
  • Efficient Linux software development processes and GIT-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Linux configuration management solutions such as Salt-Stack, Ansible, or Puppet.
