Performance Testing Specialist

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Performance Testing Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive performance tests to ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop performance test scripts using LoadRunner to simulate user interactions with complex applications.
  • Conduct thorough performance, load, stress, and endurance testing to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, architecture, and infrastructure, to understand performance requirements and translate them into actionable test scenarios.
  • Analyze performance test results, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop detailed test reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with developers to resolve performance issues and improve application responsiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with HP/Micro Focus LoadRunner and expertise in scripting performance tests for complex web applications.
  • Strong understanding of web protocols, HTTP, JavaScript, and client-server architecture.
  • Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and troubleshoot issues across application, database, and server layers.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of performance engineering concepts, including throughput, response time, latency, and resource utilization.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments and integration of performance tests in pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) performance testing.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
