Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler/Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for reviewing and upgrading the Demand/Supply Balanced Plan generated by the IBP Supply Solver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the weekly supply plan for the 0-4 months horizon in IBP.
  • Evaluate alternate supply solutions and identify options not accounted for by the system.
  • Manage gaps and risks in the plan by coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Optimize inventory levels and implement the best proposal for non-productive inventory.
  • Identify options for schedule optimization and improve planning metrics.
  • Maintain close communication with the Demand Planner to evaluate changes proposed through the exception process.
  • Own and improve the Planning Metrics along with Health Check metrics relevant to the Role.
  • Lead Weekly Supply S&OE and Monthly Supply Review, including risks and upsides.
  • Own various reports for the sub-region and support yearly budget activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful execution of New Product Introduction through system.
  • Work with Inter-country/Inter-region stakeholders to get the required products on time with Stock Transfer Orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical/production/mechanical/supply chain management or equivalent.
  • Advanced Supply Chain or Project Management Certification preferred (CSCP, CPIM, CPM).
  • 8-10 years of experience in multiple areas, including functional supply chain roles, manufacturing, procurement, finance, or another business function in a multi-national environment.
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • ERP experience is required (SAP preferred), IBP optional.
  • Direct experience in a planning role along with advanced planning system experience required.
  • Experience in the chemical manufacturing industries is preferred.

  • Manages work using data and metrics, owns and utilizes KPIs to manage process and drive improvement.
  • Capable to facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including manufacturing, procurement, and planning members.
  • Able to act as the local focal point for knowledge, managing questions from cross-functional stakeholders about the current schedule.
  • Able to periodically review supply restrictions and facilitate discussion with stakeholders to identify options for improvement.
  • Ability to support and/or lead small-scale projects or initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
