BW 4 HANA Developer Role

As a senior professional in our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that meet development standards. Your primary focus will be on performing developmental and testing tasks for larger projects, providing accurate estimates for these phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze enhancement requests and transform them into solution designs.
  • Perform developmental and testing tasks for larger projects.
  • Daily monitoring of work queues and assignment of tasks to team members.
  • Interact with customers who submit tickets and resolve issues promptly.
  • Adhere to change control processes for handling change requests.
  • Provide regular status reports for formal review.
Technical Requirements:
  • Proficient in SAP BW 7x and BW 4 HANA, including ADSOs, Transformations, AMDPs, BAPIs, Update Rules, Transfer Rules, DTPs, InfoPackages, and Process Chains.
  • Experienced with ECC and S/4HANA data extractors, e.g., SD, FI, COPA, MM, Logistics, CDS, change data capture, custom extractors, and Function Module extractors.
  • Skilled in crafting solutions for running transitions and performing unit integration and performance tests.
  • Proficient in ABAP, especially CMOD Advancements for extractors, Start Routines, End Routines, and Field Routines.
  • Familiar with OSS and SDN Forums for issue research.
