Job Description:

 

As a seasoned Embedded Device Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our embedded devices. With a strong background in secure boot, firmware analysis, and hardware security, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our devices and implementing solutions to mitigate them.

 

You will have hands-on experience with CAN/UDS/USB/JTAG interface security testing, as well as expertise in implementing and executing cyber security solutions and penetration testing for network and embedded devices. You will also provide cyber security solutions across the product development life cycle, including risk assessment, cyber security architecture, threat modeling, secure code review, penetration testing, and secure deployment and monitoring.

 

You will work with a range of tools, including Nessus, Kali Linux, CANoe, JTAGulator, Lauterbach, Trace32, Ghidra, and IDPro. Additionally, you will possess good technical presentation skills and team collaboration skills, as well as relevant security certifications such as CEH or ECSA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and report vulnerabilities in embedded devices
  • Implement solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Conduct penetration testing and risk assessments
  • Provide cyber security solutions across the product development life cycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of security measures

 

Requirements:

  • 4-12 years of experience in embedded device security testing
  • Expertise in secure boot, firmware analysis, and hardware security
  • Hands-on experience with CAN/UDS/USB/JTAG interface security testing
  • Experience with tools like Nessus, Kali Linux, CANoe, JTAGulator, Lauterbach, Trace32, Ghidra, and IDPro
  • Good technical presentation skills and team collaboration skills
  • Relevant security certifications such as CEH or ECSA
