Role Overview

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer with strong UX expertise to join our team. In this role, you will focus on understanding user needs and designing intuitive experiences. You'll create visually polished UI and production-ready assets, but your foundation will be in user-centered design and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate enjoys moving between UX research, wireframing, and prototyping. They should be comfortable using Figma and AI-assisted tools to quickly translate UX decisions into working UI screens.

This role is hands-on, collaborative, and perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic work environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand behaviors, needs, and pain points of end-users and content creators.
  • Translate requirements into user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that prioritize usability and clarity.
  • Use Figma for design workflows and leverage AI tools to speed up the creation of UI screens based on validated UX flows.
  • Create production-ready UI designs, including supporting graphics and illustrations when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation.
  • Contribute to and maintain Altoura's design system for consistency across devices and platforms.
  • Apply accessibility and usability best practices in all design outputs.
  • Presents designs clearly and thoughtfully to stakeholders.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and testing results.

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer with strong emphasis on UX.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates not just final UI, but problem-solving and UX thinking behind designs.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience using AI-powered design workflows to accelerate UI generation.
  • Strong communication skills – comfortable explaining design rationale and decisions.
  • Ability to iterate rapidly and adapt designs based on user feedback and project needs.

Bonus Experience

  • Experience with creating content for game engines or websites.
  • Previous AR/VR work experience.
