Backend Developer Wanted

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for architecting, designing and implementing scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices. They will also design and operate data ingestion pipelines for FitYosa devices ensuring durability and near-real-time processing.

Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB schema design, indexing, query optimization, and practical knowledge of caching (Redis) and message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS) are must-haves. Cloud experience (GCP or AWS) and familiarity with Docker and basic orchestration concepts are also required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design and implement scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices.
  • Design and operate data ingestion pipelines for FitYosa devices ensuring durability and near-real-time processing.
  • Implement robust authentication, authorization, payments integrations, audit trails, and secure data handling for medical/health data.
  • Ship observability (structured logs, metrics, traces) and create runbooks for common operational scenarios.

Requirements:

  • Experience building production backend systems with Node.js (TypeScript) and frameworks like Express/Nest.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB schema design, indexing, query optimization, and practical knowledge of caching (Redis) and message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS).
  • Cloud experience (GCP or AWS) and familiarity with Docker and basic orchestration concepts.
