System Engineer for Complex ASIC and IP Projects

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, with experience in porting ASIC and IP RTL code to emulation platforms.
  • He/she must be able to build models from released RTL, generate loadable images for target emulation platforms, and run sanity tests to qualify releases of the images.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for releasing emulation models to various teams for functional validation, firmware development, and design verification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Porting ASIC and IP RTL code to emulation platforms (e.g. Zebu).
  • Building models from released RTL.
  • Generating loadable images for target emulation platforms.
  • Running sanity tests to qualify releases of the images.
  • Releasing emulation models to various teams for functional validation, firmware development, and design verification.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2 years of experience in system design, with a focus on ASIC and IP projects.
  • Strong knowledge of system design methodologies, including digital signal processing, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, TCL, C++, C-shell, and Unix/Linux development environments.
  • Proficiency in logic simulation tools like VCS.
  • Good understanding of the complete design cycle, including requirements gathering, specification, implementation, verification, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of SoC design methodologies and technologies.
  • Experience with CPU integration, especially ARM/RISC-V CPU.
  • Understanding of key protocols like PCIe, USB, Ethernet, AMBA, UART, JTAG, I3C, DDR, flash memories, and their usage in SoC environments.
  • Familiarity with CoreSight/UltraSoC debug infrastructure integration.
  • IO's such as MIPI CSI & DSI, USB, PCIE, LPDDR experience.
