Software Quality Assurance Role

The primary objective of this role is to guarantee the excellence of software for optical metrology systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the quality of software by performing various types of testing, including integration testing, system interface testing, functional testing, regression and benchmarking testing.
  • Covering the entire workflow of metrology solutions from operating optical tools to producing thin film/OCD solutions.
  • Collaborating with product, hardware, software, application, characterization teams to design SQA testing strategies and plans.
  • Creating detailed test plans and cases.
  • Planning, coordinating and executing testing activities to meet product release schedules and requirements.
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining test automation capabilities.
  • Developing, maintaining and improving testing suites/processes.
  • Documenting software defects and working closely with software teams in addressing them.
  • Tracking quality assurance metrics and identifying software quality gaps.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or a related field.
  • Possessing a passion for quality and taking ownership.
  • Critical problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive test plans and cases based on software requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge in scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
