An expert in shaping creative campaigns for clients will play a crucial role at vml.

To excel in this position, an understanding of social platforms is required to leverage them as broadcast media or narrowcast and design engaging experiences through insights, technologies, and expertise with a constant test and learn approach.

  • Deep dive into analysis of Category, Competition, Consumer, Culture & Brand to come up with unique, differentiated insights.
  • Create an integrated strategy platform for campaigns/pitches that serves as an ideal springboard for the creative team.
  • Prepare and present visual presentations with a sharp POV and riveting narrative.
  • Translate business objectives into social/digital media objectives, enriched by proprietary benchmarks.
  • Analyze available insights and define overall strategy in terms of Distribution and Amplification. This could extend to competitive analysis.
  • Define the right advertising pressure to put in place to achieve goals taking into consideration objectives, challenges, and budget limitations.
  • Participate actively in new business pitches as and when required.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Post Graduate with around 7 years of experience in brand planning, social, and/or digital campaign management, digital creative strategy.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect business requirements to strategy solutions.
  • Research and data analytical skills with the ability to generate data-based insights to weave into the strategy process.
  • Passionate about fast-evolving social/digital media environment with a strong POV to share with clients and colleagues.
  • Eye for innovation and the next emerging platform or partner to consider as part of a brand, social/digital strategy results.
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively, and seamlessly while collaborating with integrated teams.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
