SAP Basis Administration Expert

About the Role

Seeking a seasoned SAP Basis Administrator with expertise in migrating SAP systems to cloud platforms.

  • Migrating SAP systems to cloud platforms using SWPM export/import, SWPM backup/restore, and DMO (SUM tool)
  • Evaluating customers' landscapes and readiness to migrate SAP systems to cloud through a structured plan
  • Providing recommendations to overcome blockers during migration
  • Designing and implementing technical architecture and solution design
  • Working knowledge of backup strategy, patch, note, and migration strategies
  • Experience with SAP OS/DB Certified Professional
  • Hands-on experience with SAP System Installation, Upgrade, Patching, SAP OS/DB migration, System Performance, and downtime optimization
  • Experience with SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration
  • Experience with SAP infrastructure design (compute, storage, and networking)
  • Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery
  • Experience in SAP High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures
  • Experience in SAP system upgrade, enhancement upgrade, security pack & support packages implementation

A successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with implementation, troubleshooting, and configuration is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
  • 3-7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
  • Expertise in migrating SAP systems to cloud platforms
  • Strong knowledge of SAP software installation, configuration, and backup strategies
  • Ability to design and implement technical architecture and solution design
  • Experience with SAP OS/DB Certified Professional
  • Hands-on experience with SAP System Installation, Upgrade, Patching, SAP OS/DB migration, System Performance, and downtime optimization
