Job Overview

The HSEQ Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards across operations.

This role involves implementing policies, conducting regular audits, training staff, and ensuring that the workplace meets statutory and company requirements related to food safety, hygiene, and occupational health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to HSEQ policies and procedures across all units.
  • Maintain strict compliance with FSSAI standards, HACCP, and ISO requirements.
  • Conduct thorough audits and inspections of kitchen, service, and storage areas to identify hazards and assess risks.
  • Implement preventive measures to mitigate potential threats to food safety and employee well-being.
  • Deliver comprehensive HSEQ training sessions for employees at all levels, emphasizing the importance of a safe working environment.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of audits, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, or food safety non-compliances, recommending corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor and track PPE usage and safety compliance, promoting a culture of accountability within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Food Technology, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Certification in FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, OHSAS, or NEBOSH is an added advantage.
  • 1–4 years of experience in HSEQ, food safety, or occupational health & safety (preferably in food service, hospitality, or catering industry).
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and statutory regulations.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
