About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex email security projects, collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Email Security Deployment: Assist in the setup and configuration of enterprise-grade email security platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Client Support: Work closely with clients to identify security gaps, design effective configurations, and implement successful email security strategies.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement, leveraging expertise in email protocols and networking concepts.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex problems, maintaining open communication and delivering high-quality results.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including support handover materials for clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with email security or cybersecurity solutions, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Prior experience with Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Symantec/Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, Fortinet, etc., as well as a solid understanding of email protocols: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
  • Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking concepts, including email routing, filtering, and encryption.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Environment Experience: Experience working with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments, with a strong grasp of cloud-based email security solutions.
Preferred Skills
  • Proofpoint Solutions: Familiarity with Proofpoint solutions, including email protection, TAP, DLP, Security Awareness, etc.
  • Cyber Threat Vectors: Knowledge of cyber threat vectors, phishing techniques, and remediation, with a focus on staying up-to-date with emerging threats.
  • SIEM/SOAR Platforms: Experience working with SIEM or SOAR platforms, with a strong understanding of log management and incident response.
