Financial Expertise

Finance professionals with global finance operations expertise in multi-currency accounting and compliance with international tax standards are sought. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of financial statements for all international offices in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.
    • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes with regional teams.
    • Support external audits and collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with global tax laws.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Participate in the global budgeting process and assist in consolidating financial data across regions.
    • Monitor financial performance metrics including cash flow and profitability.
    • Provide support for financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Cash Management & Treasury:
    • Manage global cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
    • Support initiatives to optimize working capital and streamline fund transfers.
    • Help monitor foreign exchange exposures and support hedging strategies.
  • Multicurrency Book Management:
    • Accurately maintain accounting records for transactions involving multiple currencies.
    • Ensure compliance with currency conversion policies and FX rate applications.
    • Reconcile currency gains/losses and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Process Improvement & Systems Management:
    • Identify and support improvements in financial processes to drive global consistency and efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies across regions.
    • Assist in ERP and financial system integrations and upgrades.
  • Leadership & Team Support:
    • Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial practices.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.
    • Act as a liaison between regional teams and senior leadership on financial matters.
  • Strategic Financial Support:
    • Prepare financial analysis to support mergers and acquisitions.
    • Support business risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis for international projects.
    • Contribute to strategic financial planning efforts.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting field. CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
    • 6–10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience in a multinational environment.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
    • Experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange management.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
