Surveillance Manager Job Opportunity

This role requires an experienced professional to lead surveillance activities and analyze alerts for potential violations of policies and regulations.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing electronic and audio communication alerts, analyzing system-generated alerts, conducting surveillance operations, documenting rationales, and adhering to written operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze system-generated alerts to detect potential policy and regulation violations.
  • Perform audio surveillance by listening to voice communications of employees to detect potential issues.
  • Document rationales with accurate, complete, and organized commentary for audit trails.
  • Adhere to established operating procedures for each review.
  • Drive enhancements and improvements in the surveillance program's effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years' experience in Financial Services or Banking Compliance.
  • Strong understanding of market abuse/conduct/compliance topics.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Native-level proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Fluency in Japanese and/or French is a plus.
