NetSuite Consultant Job Description

We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to lead our implementation and support cycles.

  • Evaluate customer requirements and map them to NetSuite ERP functionalities.
  • Develop detailed solution designs and provide clients with comprehensive guides throughout the implementation phase.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of ERP delivery including design, testing, validation, deployment, and user training.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Requirements Analysis: Evaluate customer's business needs and translate them into scalable NetSuite ERP solutions.
  2. Solution Design: Develop detailed solution designs and lead clients throughout the implementation phase.
  3. Implementation and Support: Manage the full lifecycle of ERP delivery including design, testing, validation, deployment, and user training.
  4. Test Planning: Create and execute test plans including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing.
  5. Data Migration: Identify and execute data migration strategies using standard NetSuite tools.
  6. Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve complex issues related to data, configuration, and processes.
  7. Customization: Customize system features based on project scope and client requirements.
  8. Training: Deliver hands-on NetSuite ERP training in areas such as chart of accounts, tax configuration, multi-subsidiary setup, vendor payments, and bank transactions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in NetSuite ERP implementation and functional consulting.
  • Proven experience in initial system setup and configuration, data migration planning and execution, master and transactional data setup, and ERP cut-over and go-live planning.
  • Expertise in configuring company setup, chart of accounts, tax nexus, multi-subsidiary & multi-currency setups, vendor payment methods, banking, inventory, and sales modules.
  • Functional knowledge of sales & distribution, pricing, forecasting, procurement, BOM, production planning, inventory & stock management, QA, returns management, financial reporting, GL, P&L, Balance Sheet impacts.
  • Experience with NetSuite saved searches, workflows, and reports, basic scripting and customization, integration with CRM, HRMS, and Payroll systems, and strong experience in testing methodologies and preparing UAT criteria.
